| | Billet Aluminum Front Bumper Trim
If you have removed the front plate from your car, you have an unsightly blank spot on the front bumper. Improve the looks of that bumper with this attractive and affordable trim plate. It's made right here in the USA of brushed-finished 1/8" aluminum plate, and engraved with the letters "WRX" or "STi".
Kit includes the trim plate, plus two tamper-proof Torx bolts and a matching bit, so you don't have to worry about thieves pilfering your nice trim plate.
A note about plate shape for the 02-05 trim: The STi lettering plates are shaped specifically to fit the '04-05 bumper style (see "STi letter" picture, below), with a slanted side profile. The WRX lettering models (shown above) fit any '02-04 cars, and have a slightly more square shape. You CAN fit either shape on any 02-05 car, but the plates themselves are shaped to exactly match the 02-03 (WRX lettering) and the 04-05 (STi lettering).
Available in machined aluminum or black finish. (Black plates are either anodized or powder coated, depending on the design.) There are two different engraving styles that vary depending on the application. See the photos above and below.
NOTE! There are pre-molded holes on the front bumper of the WRX or STI, that are NOT used to hold on the license plate (at least in the U.S.). The trim part does NOT install into these holes! If your dealership attached a front license plate to the car, you'll be using those smaller screw holes. If not, you'll need to drill small holes for the included screws. There are small dimples in the bumper to indicate where these holes are to be drilled. Even if you can't find the dimples, you can always hold the plate up to the bumper... (See "Which holes to use" pic below.)
Fits all 2002+ Impreza and WRX, including STi.
