  Coilovers
Coilovers are an integrated spring/shock system that allows for customize dampening that matches the spring rates, threaded bodies for continuously-adjustable ride height, and more features that are great for hard-core sports cars and track racers.
Note that coilovers do have some downsides compared to normal spring/strut setups: Coilovers tend to be noisier, require maintenance, and transmit much more noise/vibration/harshness to the car interior.
