How Come You're Not Stocking APS Parts? We love the hardware that comes from APS of Australia. It's well-engineered and doesn't cost much more than lesser product.
But the company sells it only direct from Australia, and we have to buy huge chunks of it, pay up-front, then wait for weeks, and sometimes months, for the shipment to arrive. This also means that we have to try to predict demand two months in advance, and we're usually wrong. The cost of shipping pallets of product from Australia is also extremely high.
We have pleaded repeatedly with APS to set up a warehouse in the U.S., but to no avail. So for the time being, we're going to stop carrying their parts, even though we like them. When the time comes that they establish a U.S. distribution warehouse, we might sign back up with them.
So, if you think (like we do) that this situation doesn't make any sense, go to the APS web site, and call or email them telling them you can't get their products from your favorite retailer, and ask them what they're going to do about it.
