These are authentic STi projector headlights for your 02 WRX. Projector headlights feature a more focused light source for improved clarity, sharper light cutoff, and increased brightness. Since these use a separate high and low beam bulb (instead of the U.S. car's single bulb), you'll have to do some wiring to hook them up.
These are LEFT-HAND DRIVE lamps, so they project a beam pattern that's correct and appropriate for U.S. use, unlike the Japanese-market RHD lamps.
These are "conventional" incandescent lights, not HID lights -- if you want the HID lamps, see below. Note, too, that these lamps are NOT plug-and-play in your US WRX. You will have to custom-wire them (it's not difficult) or find yourself a jumper harness.

Note: Although the lamps have a "DOT" marking on them, they may not be DOT approved, and therefore may not be legal for use on public roads in the U.S. Intended for show or offroad use only. But you knew that, right?
