Precision CNC-machined and TIG-welded 4130 chromoly steel, the Kartboy short shifter may be the best bang-for-the-buck mod you will ever make. After all, you use it multiple times, every time you drive!
The short shifter reduces throw by 40%, giving a shorter, more positive-feeling shifter action. (The Kartboy one is shown next to the stock shifter above.)
Installation is straightforward, and can be accomplished in under an hour. All stock and aftermarket Subaru-fit shift knobs will thread directly on.
Available for all 2005+ Legacy five-speed AND six-speed models, including Outback. Add Kartboy shifter bushings for further improvements in shifting feel!
