Legacy GT Turbo Upgrades
The 2005-09 Legacy GT uses the IHI VF40 turbocharger. It uses a different compressor housing than other Subaru turbos, making it impossible to use a standard fitment Subaru style turbo with the new Legacy due to the direct connection from the turbo to the intercooler. The new manifold is plastic, and the intercooler is square. The turbos you see here will fit your 2005-09 Legacy GT.
Each comes with custom WRX/Legacy fitment compressor housing, Blouch billet “XT” compressor wheel, genuine Mitsubishi center housing with genuine Mitsubishi parts, pre-installed coolant pipes and oil drain tube, and turbo mounting gaskets.
The turbine side features a Mitsubishi TD05H turbine wheel and shaft assy for the 380XT and 440XT. The 480XT comes with a custom Blouch HPD turbine section. (That's also an option on the 440XT.)
All our upgrade turbos are direct bolt-on upgrades for all 2005-09 Legacy GT (including Spec B) and Outback XT.
