Do I have an STi short shifter?

If you are not sure if your 2002-2007 WRX has the optional STi (also sold as SPT) short shifter, pull up the shift boot and look down at the shifter linkage.  The standard linkage is black or silver in color.  The STi short shifter (shown here) is gold.  Also, the standard shift fork is 1.435" wide.  The STi short shifter fork is narrower, at 1.155" wide. Measure the width of the fork if you are not sure.
