Samco Silicone Induction Pipe

The stock air induction hose is made of corrugated black rubber that restricts flow and introduces turbulence in the intake. Not only that, it doesn't seem very heat resistant -- we've seen stock induction hoses actually melt on the car!

The Samco replacement is made of multi-ply heat-resistant (it can withstand up to 338 degrees!) silicone rubber for much better durability, plus a much smoother intake path. The result is a horsepower increase of 3-8 hp, depending on boost level and modifications.

This hose leads from the air box back to the turbo inlet, traveling UNDER the intake manifold in the process. Installation of this piece is a bit of a chore; allow several hours for install.

Available in blue and red.

Fits all 2002-07 WRX, and 2004+ WRX STi (all).

Install tips- Remove the intercooler to allow access to all this stuff. Loosen the clamps from the BOV return hose and the turbo inlet.

- The Stock induction hose will have to be cut to remove it from the car. Use tin snips or other heavy duty cutters. The plastic cuts easily.

- You will probably have to cut a couple of vacuum lines to remove the old pipe.

- Unbolting the power steering line allows easier access to the pipe.

- There's a 12mm bolt on the front of the intake manifold that attaches the old pipe directly to the intake manifold.
