|  |  Summer 2006 Mega Colossal Meet: Sunday 8/13/06
The Mega Colossal Meet was our first ever charity event, with proceeds going to benefit Big Brothers/Big Sisters of the National Capital Area. We raised $1000! (Mach V owner Dan Hurwitz presents the check to BBBS, below.)
It was also our first official car show, with prizes for Best Engine Bay, Best Exterior, and Best of Show, plus a bonus prize for Car We'd Most Like to Own Ourselves. There were separate classes for Forester and Legacy too, plus one for pre-2002 Imprezas.
Some of our local enthusiasts organized a hamburger-eating contest -- the winner ate 11 McDonalds burgers in a half hour!
