 The folks at TurboXS sat down with a bunch of downpipes, a WRX, and a Dynapack all-wheel-drive dyno. Then they began testing. When they were done...they designed their own downpipe, with the specific purpose of outperforming all others. They accomplished their goal.
This is a monstrous downpipe. Unlike most downpipes, it doesn't simply have a slanted section at the front for the wastegate outlet. Instead, the entire pipe is widened to fit up against the turbo housing, and that wide mouth tapers gradually all the way along the length of the downpipe, until the 3" flange at the other end. There is no higher-flowing downpipe anywhere. We guarantee it.
The quality is top-notch. 4" (yes, you read that right) heavy-gauge stainless steel pipe is precision formed into the proper shape. Super-thick CNC-cut flanges cap off each end. And the entire thing -- pipe, welds, and flanges -- is completely stainless steel. Not like those other pipes that use mild steel flanges, which will eventually corrode.
Fits up perfectly to your TurboXS 3" high flow cat center section. Will NOT fit up to factory exhaust parts. You HAVE to have the TurboXS center cat section to use this downpipe.
NOTE: We're sure we need not remind you that removing a working catalytic converter from your car is against federal emissions laws. This item is for off-road race use only, and may never be used on a public road.
