We have tried a number of LED headlamp bulbs before settling on one we were willing to sell. These fanless bulbs use a robust aluminum heat sink on the back side for excellent cooling, without having to worry about a fan that will inevitably fail. The fanless design also makes wiring a total breeze -- just plug the factory wiring harness into the bulb pigtail, zip tie the wiring place, and you're done.
The base of the bulb features a swivel design, so you can adjust the axis of the bulb to match the headlamp housing. (Note that there are TWO set screws, set 180 degrees from each other. Make sure to tighten both screws before installing the bulb into the headlamp housing.)
The bulbs work fine, with no errors or dash warnings, in all the Subaru applications we have tried, including high beam/DRL applications on the 2015+ WRX.
6000-6500K is the default color temperature, but the kit also comes with film overlays to change to 3000K or 8000K colors, at slightly reduced light output. (Know and obey your local laws regarding lighting!)
The best part is, these have a full two-year manufacturer warranty.

If your lamp has a rear dust cover over the bulb, you may have to remove the cover to clear the heatsink, or install a cover with greater clearance. Note the bulb and heat sink dimensions in the attached diagram. Check for clearance BEFORE you order!
Note that these bulbs are meant to replace traditional halogen bulbs, and are not going to be compatible with cars that come with original-equipment LED or HID lamps.
Another note: Check and obey your local laws about lighting. LED bulb technology is advancing much faster than laws regulating them, so be prepared if you have periodic safety inspections in your area.
