(JDM trivia time! The word "Laile" comes from the French, for "the wing.") In the 1990's Laile created their Beatrush line of tuner parts for street cars. Today the Beatrush brand is well-known in their home Japan market.

This titanium shift knob is reminiscent of the rally-style titanium knobs Subaru used to sell in the early 2000's. Titanium has excellent heat rejection so it although it does get hot in the summer and cold in the winter, it comes back to skin temperature quickly. It also has a nice mass -- not super-heavy like stainless steel, but not as light as Delrin/copolymer knobs. It does not corrode and it is hypoallergenic. Of course titanium is notoriously difficult to machine, which combined with the Japanese origin means this isn't an inexpensive shift knob.

The classic light bulb shape is super-comfortable to the hand. Bead-blasted finish looks and feels great; the Beatrush logo is lasered on around the base. Dimensions are 2.6"/68mm tall, 1.75"/44mm wide.

The knob includes an adapter to thread on the six-speed manual Subaru shifter, and is counter-sunk to accept the six-speed reverse lockout mechanism. Since the knob does not have a shift pattern on it, you also get three shift pattern appliques you can attach to the console.

Imported directly from Japan by us.

Sold individually.

Fits all six-speed manual Subaru cars. (You could attach it to a five-speed car, too, but it would not have a boot retention feature.)

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0277/9175/files/beatrushshiftknob_a2c21d7a-3088-4e14-9e9b-632985d78beb.jpg?v=1784818520
