These are authentic STi projector headlights for your bugeye WRX. Projector headlights feature a more focused light source for improved clarity, sharper light cutoff, and increased brightness. Since these use a separate high and low beam bulb (instead of the U.S. car's single bulb), you'll have to do some wiring to hook them up. These are LEFT-HAND DRIVE lamps, so they project a beam pattern that's correct and appropriate for U.S. use, unlike the Japanese-market RHD lamps. These are "conventional" incandescent lights, not HID lights -- if you want the HID lamps, you can install an aftermarket kit, but that's up to you. Note, too, that these lamps are NOT plug-and-play in your US WRX. You will have to custom-wire them (it's not difficult) or find yourself a jumper harness. Fits 2002-2003 Impreza and WRX. Note: Although the lamps have a "DOT" marking on them, they may not be DOT approved, and therefore may not be legal for use on public roads in the U.S. Intended for show or offroad use only.
