F1-Style Rear Brake Lamp 2015-2021 Subaru WRX/STI

US Subarus come with a little square panel in the back bumper, but unlike cars in Japan and other cool places, we don't get a lamp back there. You can fix that! This LED rear brake lamp fits directly in that little space where the panel is. Easy wiring allows you to wire it in to the existing brake lamp circuit.

Now available with a plug-in wiring harness for a small additional cost. Note that the harness wire colors and car wire colors may vary, but the basic idea is to have the black wire on the lamp wired to ground, and the green and red wires on the lamp both wired to the brake lamp circuit on the car. Depending on your vehicle, you MAY HAVE TO RE-PIN THE HARNESS. You also will have one or more extra leads you don't need to use. Use any multimeter if you're not sure what wire is what.

Also understand that this lamp has only ONE brightness level. For that reason we recommend it as a brake lamp only. It does not have a dim/bright output option, so it cannot be used as a rear fog lamp/brake lamp combo.

The lamp does have a clever blinking function when it first switches on to attract extra attention.
