StopTech now offers the same pads that they include with their balanced big brake upgrades as OEM replacement pads for your stock calipers. StopTech Performance pads are a great option for those that are looking for a good all around street pad that may see limited track time. Designed with a higher heat tolerance and temperature range, the StopTech Performance pads will out perform most other OEM quality pads on the street or track. StopTech Performance pads will show less pad deposition and lower levels of dust and noise when compared to other popular brake pads at the cost of slightly less initial bite. StopTech Performance pads are designed to be used on the street with very limited track use.
NOTE: Subaru was not completely consistent about which calipers designs they used during this time period. Look carefully at the pad shapes and in particular the thickness of the "ears" or tabs on the pads. See the photos on this web page. If possible, remove and measure a pad from your car BEFORE ordering, and select the pad that matches what you have.
Available for 2002-2005 WRX, and 2004-2008 Forester XT. Sold as a pad set for both calipers at one end of the car. Select Front or Rear, and Type A or Type B. See the photos for an explanation.
