Frame braces and strut bars increase the stiffness of your Subaru, which is a good thing! Increased chassis stiffness means the suspension stays correctly aligned even while under stress. There's really no downside to these braces -- they don't weigh very much and you wouldn't notice any increase in noise or vibration.
