A cat-back exhaust system can free up power and improve the exhaust note of your Subaru. "Cat-back" stands for "From the catalytic converter back." Cat-back exhaust systems usually extend from about the middle of the car back to the tailpipes. These systems are generally emissions-legal since they do not alter the factory catalytic converter(s).
