This kit will make your LED tail light also function as the turn signal on your 2022+ Subaru WRX . By eliminating the factory incandescent turn signal bulb, and instead operating the turn signal through your LED tail light, you will gain a much more modern appearance. In addition, by freeing up the turn signal section of the tail lamp, you can (at your discretion) add a white LED to more than double your backup lamp output.
Using OEM plug-and-play tail light connectors, the base kit is 100% plug-and-play, with no wiring required. You don't even have to remove your tail lights!
Note that you MUST remove your stock turn signal bulbs to install this kit, whatever configuration you choose.
This product was designed and fully manufactured by Diode Dynamics, in St. Louis, Missouri. It is fully made in USA, and is covered by a three year manufacturer warranty.
This product is designed to be used with Diode Dynamics products. Use of non Diode Dynamics products may result in improper function.
If you wish, you can also convert the old turn signal socket to an extra backup lamp! Each kit comes with the wires to accomplish this (see video for details) but you will need new white LED bulbs or purchase the Stage 1 kit. You must use LEDs, not standard bulbs, because you will be drawing power from the backup light circuit.
Basic kit includes two Tail as Turn turn signal/backup modules. The Stage 1 kit adds two Diode Dynamics high-intensity cool white LED bulbs.
Fits all US and Canada-market 2022+ Subaru WRX. Does NOT fit cars from outside North America.
