Early 2.5 liter turbo Subaru cars have a fuel filter in the fuel tank, stacked on top of the fuel pump. The 2007 STI, for reasons known only to Subaru engineers, has a different fuel filter arrangement than any other model, and there's a one-year special in-tank filter to match.
