The OEM driveshaft carrier bushings are made from soft rubber that compresses, wears, and eventually breaks down. As they deteriorate, the driveshaft loses alignment between its front and rear sections, causing vibration, drivetrain lash, and unnecessary wear on universal joints. Overtake's driveshaft carrier bushings replace those weak points with stainless steel bushings that hold everything firmly in position. 

The driveshaft carrier bearing sits at the center of your driveshaft, supporting and aligning the front and rear sections. Factory rubber bushings mount this carrier to the chassis, but they were designed for cost and comfort, not longevity or precision. Over time, they compress and deteriorate, allowing the carrier to shift and creating misalignment between driveshaft sections. This puts stress on your universal joints and introduces slop into the drivetrain. Overtake driveshaft carrier bushings replace those rubber bushings with stainless steel that maintains proper alignment under all conditions.
