This steering shaft joint goes in between the steering rack and steering column. There are two styles. The solid joint part is standard-issue on the WRX STI; the rubber-isolated version is found on the WRX and Legacy. You can retrofit the solid STI version to any 2008-2014 WRX or 2005-2009 Legacy for that more precise STI steering experience. (Of course there is a small increase in steering vibration as well, but you knew that.)
Fits all 2008-2014 Subaru WRX, 2008-2014 WRX STI, and 2005-2009 Legacy. Specify style.
