This set of forged aluminum front lower control arms is an excellent value as either replacement for the factory units or upgrades for the stamped steel arms of the 2008-2014 WRX. These are aftermarket arms that are manufactured to Subaru's OEM specifications. Each one even includes a new ball joint.
Note that the rear of these control arms attach to the car using BOLTS, which are included with the kit. If your car currently uses STUDS (like on a 2008-2010 WRX, and some other cars), you will need to remove the studs from the chassis and use the included bolts instead. The new arms will not fit over the studs.
Note too that the 2008-2010 WRX have a shorter front control arm. These forged aluminum arms are almost an inch longer, which for most people is a positive thing because it delivers a wider track and improved handling, but be aware that if your tire clearance is very tight on a 2008-2010 WRX, pushing the bottom of the knuckle outward is not going to help that situation.
