The front transmission crossmember mount is one of the most overlooked sources of drivetrain flex in the WRX and STI platform. Factory rubber bushings are designed with large voids that compress and deflect under load, absorbing forces that should be going to the wheels. Over time, they also degrade from heat and oil exposure, making shift quality progressively worse. Our polyurethane bushings are specifically calibrated to eliminate excessive movement while preserving enough compliance for daily comfort.
