In the mid-2000's Subaru started putting a major electrical junction right in the rear of the engine bay. This bulkhead connector has 54 pins and joins the engine wiring harness with the main car wiring harness. The location in the engine bay makes it prone to moisture intrusion and corrosion. We have seen many strange symptoms that we eventually traced to corroded or damaged pins on this connector.
Get your car back to proper working order with a replacement connector. Each kit comes with the plastic plug housing, the inner pin holder, a complete set of pins, and the tiny little rubber insulators.
Choose from Car side (the female one that is bracketed in place with the lock on it) or Engine side (that's the male plug that pushes in).
