Kics Racing Gear lug nuts are made in Japan and are some of the most beautiful, tough, and feature-packed fasteners we sell. The R40 iConix product almost makes us think Kics were reading our minds because these lug nuts have just about everything we've ever asked for in a lug nut.
First off, like all lug nuts we sell these are of steel construction, but it's not just any steel. R40 iConix are forged from SCM435 ChroMoly alloy, which is strong and tough, but also light.
Next up, these lug nuts have an independent-spinning seat that sits against the wheel. This rotating seat allows the lug nut to tighten against the wheel without grinding into the paint finish, reducing the chance of chipping or peeling of the wheel finish near the lug nut seats.
Worried about using these with extended studs? These lug nuts are open-ended so you can run as long a wheel stud as you want. But wait, you also are concerned about what they look like if the studs are NOT long? We have you covered -- each fastener comes with a pre-installed (but removable) plastic cap that covers up the center of the lug nut. It also serves to keep out most moisture, grit, and debris.
For the finish, we stock these in a lovely "Neo Chrome" rainbow treatment that looks like flame-burned titanium. Note that we can't warranty the surface treatment against scratches or fading. Treat them with care and keep them out of the sun if you want the colored finish to stay bright and nice.
Finally, with a lug nut set this fancy, you might be worried about theft resistance. That has been anticipated as well: Each set comes with sixteen standard 17mm hex fasteners, plus four theft-resistant lock fasteners.
As with any custom wheel fastener, we recommend using HAND TOOLS ONLY to install and remove these. No impact tools! Torque to the normal tightness as specified by your car's owner's manual.
Complete Subaru-fitment kit includes the 20 lug nuts, tools for both hex and lock fasteners, plus a little center cap tool for removing or installing the center cap. If you were wondering, the larger tool uses a 21mm hex socket. The smaller tool is a 17mm hex so you can use the larger tool to loosen it -- clever!
Fits any Subaru car, and other cars with 12mm x 1.25 lug nut pitch, including Scion FR-S and Toyota GR86.
The box came very quick and in it was this wonderful guitar. Downs first: the gigbag fits well but offers no protection except of views. But with this I can live, I will find something better. But not for the guitar, this is amazing! Build quality and finish look and feel spotless and setup was perfect for playing it instantly. With the slim body it is not for playing acoustically with others but great for not being heard outside the room when playing at night. Amped it offers tons of sound and a great variety of possibilities, it works for everything. After the first check I changed the tailpiece for a Duesenberg tremolo and my favourite flatwound strings, since then I can't stop playing it. And the orange colour is simply perfect!
What and outstanding instrument!! From the tip of the head stock to the knobs on the body. The most solid feel and the highest quality components. Seriously, if you are hesitating buying an Eastwood instrument...DON'T! Buy it and you will not regret it...
Nice neck, a pleasure to play! It also has a really nice sound. I received my Classic Tenor in November '22, used it on a tour with a jazz band the following month, and my fellow musicians all commented on how sweet my new hollow-body guitar sounded.
Hi, I received my classic tenor guitar a week ago and still admiring the quality build and finish of it.Beautiful in walnut,it arrived well packaged and free of damage and already tuned and ready to play. After playing an acoustic tenor for sometime up til now, the tone will take a little getting used to but love the fine neck shape and real low action. One happy owner
Got this great, rare tenor electric guitar from Eastwood during the pandemic. In spite of the delivery and shipping problems they had to deal with, they kept me personally informed of where it was at in the making and delivery process. Great guys and a great instrument. Arrived set up and ready to play. Beautiful piece of craftsmanship.. it draws attention whenever I take it out of the case.
Tenor guitars are quite rare instruments, particularly electric tenors. Having learnt everything on a tenor ukulele the move ‘up’ to a 4 string tenor guitar feels quite natural, albeit the fret spacing is greater (this of course has pros and cons). Chord shapes are identical to a ukulele but of course the actual chords are the same as a baritone uke, not a tenor uke. I am really enjoying playing this guitar, the range of sounds it can produce and its relative ease of play. I put it through a BOSS multi-effects pedal and can get everything from gentle acoustic to dreadfully heavy metal sound. It’s great for rhythm or leads. Being semi-acoustic I though I would be able to play this guitar unamplified in intimate surroundings. Whilst it’s passable for quiet practice the large amount of wiring and other gubbins within the body deadens much of the sound and gives rattles and vibrations. Amplified is the only way. The guitar doesn’t come with any setup guide but Eastwood will send you one. There are adjustments available for bridge and pickup height. There are separate volume controls for the 2 sets of pickups - I can’t decide whether this is better than a single pot to balance them - it’s more to adjust. The tone control has most of its effect in just a small part of its rotation (as most tone controls seem to). The pickup selector switch is in an annoying position that is easy to hit unintentionally. It would be better out of the way. The appearance of the guitar is rather stunning, from the sunburst body to the fret inlays. It’s balance is head-heavy so I need some high-friction material on the back of my strap to prevent droop. It looks very distinctive alongside other instruments and people often don’t notice it’s a 4 stringer. Overall - yes I’d certainly recommend this guitar. I’d like to be able to compare it to a solid-bodied tenor but I don’t have one.
it was worth waiting, what a wonderful guitar, my new Classic Tenor. She has the sound I had expected: soft, warm, jazzy, ideal for Real Book tunes. And the look: well, it may be a question of personal taste, but I love "greenburst". all in all, I am very happy with my new guitar. Here is a short video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0_G9iYTwh0Q
Everything went smoothly. The guitar came on time, perfectly set up and ready to play after a quick tune up. I love it. The Green Burst finish is awesome. The sound is great. I like the spacing of the strings on this one, great for rhythm or finger picking. It is very comfortable to play. And the kicker is I now have a guitar with CN Tower on the head stock! Took me a minute to figure that one out.
Wow! What a wonderful experience buying this guitar. Bought it on clearance, Vincent at Eastwood had it restrung with DGBE strings per my request and set the action perfectly low. I got it a few days ago and have virtually not stopped playing it (smile). My first electric guitar, and I totally adore it. I play DGBE acoustic guitar (Goldtone) and baritone ukulele as well. Also GCEA ukulele. On the to-do list, to make an Audacity recording with this bad girl in front with my singing and tracks for the other instruments in accompaniment. That will be sweet! When I am richer, may go after that LP tenor too. Thanks, Eastwood, for offering so many tenor electric guitars. Your inventory is amazing.

It was real difficult to get one to Belgium but finally it came true. Tuned it like a Ukulele G-C-E-A and still sounds great, even the local guitar shop is crazy about it! As an uku player I feel like a real giutar player! I'm proud to own these beautiful instrument! Greatings from Belgium! G. Van Herck Schelle - Antwerp - Belgium
I play folk, jazz, pop and rock. The Gretsch-typed Dual EW-Retro Humbuckers are terribly effective in clear, crunch or saturated sound. This guitar is really very well finished, nothing wrong. It is completely hollow without inner bar. Which allows him to ring even disconnected. The handle is even narrower than my old tenor WARREN ELLIS. 1 1/8 "width at the Silet of the Classic against 1 5/16" of the Warren. Although a little thick, it is for me now very comfortable. Nice guitar typed Gretsch. No change of pickup expected, they are very good, the mechanics are very good agreement. the handle is for my little hands perfectly comfortable. A very comfortable instrument with formidable pickups, beautifully retro charm with a reasonable price. very satisfied !!!
I just received an Eastwood Classic Tenor in stunning Redburst....the pictures do not do this thing justice...it is a beautiful instrument. I got this to play in a celtic/folk/rock outfit , and it was perfectly set up in GDAE tuning right out of the box...plays jigs and reels effortlessly....very fun!!!!
