Overtake Shifter Stop 2015+ WRX

The Overtake shifter stop is designed to reduce the extra side-to-side travel in the cable shifter mechanism, improving shifter feel and reducing the odds of a missed shift, especially the critical 1st-to-2nd gear shift.

A big issue with the design of the shifting mechanism on modern cable-shifted Subarus is that slop in the cables that allows the shifter to move past the 1-2 gear gates. This can lead to a notchy-feeling shifter. In some cases the slack can prevent the shifter from going into those gears at all!

The Overtake shifter stop adds a mechanical limit to the side-to-side travel of the shifter, allowing you to perfectly tune the shifter's travel for crisp and accurate shifts every time. Mimicking the factory reverse lockout, the main body is made from injection molded glass-filled nylon, offering excellent strength and durability while preventing any damage to your shifter like a metal version could. Best of all, the Overtake kit include all of the necessary hardware for a quick and painless bolt-on installation.
