The Details:

The EJ-series turbo runs hot, and in stock form the heat shield is shaped around the OEM downpipe. Once you go aftermarket, that clearance disappears and most people ditch the shield entirely, leaving the turbo's exhaust housing radiating heat directly toward the intercooler. On a hot day or during hard use, that radiant heat raises charge air temperatures and costs you power when you want it most. The Overtake Turbo Heatshield is CNC-formed from 304 stainless, shaped to wrap the turbo housing properly while clearing the wider profiles on popular aftermarket downpipes. The brushed finish resists corrosion and holds up in the under hood environment without peeling or flaking. Grade 10.9 hardware is in the box so you're installing with proper fasteners from the start. Straightforward install, no modifications to the car, and you get your heat protection back.
