Most any recent Subaru vehicle comes with WIRED Apple CarPlay, but it's annoying to have to plug in your phone every time you get in the car. And how many times have you left the car only to realize your phone is still plugged in and sitting in the car?
Fortunately, technology has the answer. There's WIRELESS Apple CarPlay. Our Wireless CarPlay adapter makes it happen. You simply plug the adapter in to the USB port on the car and leave it there, do a short one-time Bluetooth setup on your iPhone (any model iPhone 6 or later, running iOS 10 or higher), and you're set. The phone will auto-magically connect up to CarPlay any time you get in the car from then on. It's amazing!
Kit includes the Wireless CarPlay adapter with USB plug, plus a USB-C add-on if your car only has USB-C. You also get a sticky 3M disc so you can stick the adapter somewhere out of sight.
Helpful tip: Occasionally the interface will get hung up and there will be a communication issue between the module and the phone. Simply power cycle the module by unplugging it briefly and plugging it back in, and in most cases that will solve the problem.
