Supply chain backlogs and slowdowns that we were talking about six months ago have caught up with the rest of the economy, and inflation during past couple of months has been higher than any time in the last two decades. For us the result has been nearly across-the-board price increases from our suppliers, most of which took effect on the first of the year or the first of February. Unfortunately that means we had to adjust our retail prices accordingly, although in some cases we have been able to absorb the higher wholesale prices. It's probably not news to you, but this has been a crazy year, and doing business in the world has been challenging to say the least. Due to a variety of factors, global production and transportation of goods has not been able to meet demand, especially U.S. demand. Manufacturers overseas are short of raw materials and short of labor, and even once they product the product, there is a shortage of shipping containers for them to load product into. Even if/when the product gets onto a ship and floats over here to the U.S., there is a backup at the port -- earlier this month there were over 100 ships loitering outside the port of Long Beach/Los Angeles, waiting to offload....
