OEM Quality EJ Motor Black Oil Filter WRX/STI

Story time, kids! Long ago there used to be a black Subaru oil filter that was beloved by all. It was made by Tokyo Roki and many Subaru enthusiasts used it and were happy. Then Subaru of America had a change of heart and switched to a US-made blue filter. The black filter went out of production. Some said the quality of the new blue filter was not as good as the older Japanese-made filter, which is no longer available. Subaru enthusiasts were blue like the oil filter.

Then, suddenly...a new contender! Today we present an alternative filter for your oil filtration consideration. It's made in Thailand by a company that USED to be an OEM oil filter supplier for Subaru. Is this the long-lost Tokyo Roki filter? We don't know for certain, but this filter meets or exceeds all Subaru's OEM filter specifications.

If you use oil filter wrenches, this filter takes a 65mm filter wrench.

Fits all EJ-motor cars, which includes 2002-2014 WRX and STI. Also fits most other pre-2012 Subaru vehicles.
