Subaru STi Flip-Top Oil Cap

This definitely wins our prize for Most Overengineered Product, but it's a true JDM STi accessory and we love it.

At first glance, no big deal, it's an oil cap with a black inset and an STi logo. But wait! There's a little Allen head screw there. The black STi logo piece is HINGED. See, the body of the cap is aluminum and since there's some chance it might get a little stuck in the oil filler neck, you can undo the tiny little Allen screw (using the included Allen wrench, naturally) and the black part hinges upward to reveal a 19mm hex shape so you can put a 19mm socket on there and loosen it.

Sure, this seems like crazy overkill when the stock yellow plastic cap works perfectly fine. No, it's not necessary. But isn't it awesome?

Depending on which engine style and which oil filler neck, the STi logo orientation when tight may vary; don't call us complaining that it's not facing the way you want.

Fits all turbo EJ and FA engine Subarus. May fit other cars, too, but the Japanese fitment guide says it won't fit EJ25 NON-turbo cars. We are sure not why -- we have not tried yet.
